New Year's / Celia's bday

We have been busy folks here in the dead of the Texas winter. (Actually it's almost 60 degrees today so I can't complain. What has happened? Well 2 things, Earl and Katrina came down for the Cotton Bowl/New Years Eve and then this past weekend, we celebrated Celia's bday.
Let's start with New Year's. Well it was a bitterly cold night over at Ferrari's house that ended around 4 am with Earl dragging me out of there because I was arguing with Richards brother about hockey. I was telling him that it was boring, he disagreed. Richard and Sarah made the best queso I have ever tasted. We revelled and revelled until we could not revel any more. Oh yeah, the next day we went to go get firewood and my truck got stuck in the mud. That is nooo fun. But a guy from New York on a tractor pulled us out. I know,,, it's weird. We were in freakin' Lucas, TX in a field and the one guy around that had a tractor was a new yorker. We figured witness protection plan.
OSU decided not to show up against Ole Miss at the Cotton Bowl and so they were handed their butts on a tray. E was none to happy about this. Hell, i was none to happy about this and I didnt even go to OSU. It was great as always to see E and K. They headed back on sunday.

Celia's bday- Well we went out to eat at a fantastic little Mediterranean joint. She likes that kind of food. She got fun presents and then we moved on to the Stone Elephant for some bday drinks. Not me though.. i was the DD. I got some of it on video. Enjoy them.
Hurry back Superman, we'll be holding it down til then...
Laters,
jth
